Hanami Matcha Essential Kit

PREPERATION
Soak bamboo whisk in warm water for 1–2 minutes before use.

RECOMMENDED ICED MATCHA LATTE
Sift 4g matcha into chawan or bowl
Add 15g hot water (75–80°C) and whisk into a smooth paste
Add 25g hot water
Whisk in zigzag motion until frothy
Serve over ice with milk of choice
Sweeten if desired

STORAGE & CARE

MATCHA
Store unopened in refrigerator
After opening, keep in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from light, heat, and moisture
Avoid air exposure
Best consumed within 4–8 weeks of opening for peak flavour and colour

BAMBOO WHISK (CHASEN)
Before first use (blooming):
Soak bamboo whisk in warm water for 1–3 minutes before first use to soften the tines and allow them to gently open up.
This helps reduce breakage and improves frothing performance
After each use:
Rinse gently with warm water immediately after use
Do not use soap or place in a dishwasher
Shake off excess water and allow to air dry completely
Dry upright or on a whisk holder

BAMBOO SCOOP (CHASHAKU)
Gently wipe bamboo scoop with a dry, clean cloth or paper towel after use
Do not rinse with water, use soap, or place in a dishwasher
Keep dry at all times to preserve shape and finish
Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight

SIFTER
Tap out excess powder after use
Rinse with warm water and allow to air dry completely
For stubborn buildup, gently clean with a soft brush and mild soap
Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue
Dry completely with a cloth or air dry fully before storing
