Chae was created from a love for matcha and a desire to bring a little more intention into the everyday.

Our name comes from cha (茶), the character for tea. It also represents colour, fullness, and balance. To us, it reflects everything we hope to embody: a sense of warmth, connection, and the beauty found in slowing down.

Based in Vancouver, BC, our journey began with a genuine appreciation for the craft and tradition of tea. What started as a personal passion gradually grew into something we wanted to share. From sourcing to preparation, every detail is considered with care. We source only first harvest matcha, selected for the quality, character, and depth we believe every cup deserves.

We believe tea is something to experience, not rush. A moment to pause, reconnect, and be present. Whether it's part of your morning ritual, a quiet break in the middle of the day, or a cup shared with someone, we hope to bring a little more intention to those everyday moments.
